Giving businesses more room to grow – UK Shared Prosperity Fund

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) will support the UK Government’s wider commitment to level up all parts of the UK by delivering on each of the levelling up objectives:  

  • boost productivity, pay, jobs, and living standards by growing the private sector  
  • spread opportunities and improve public services  
  • restore a sense of community and local pride   
  • empower local leaders and communities  

A £585 million allocation for Wales from the UK Government fund will be invested to increase business productivity, boost export and inward investment, and raise employment. The aim is to provide opportunities to communities and businesses and give residents access to new jobs and training.
