Keeping businesses moving – Morley Town Deal

Town Deals are part of the UK government’s strategy for Levelling Up the economy by providing funds to 101 towns across the UK to drive economic regeneration. Town Deals across Yorkshire include a range of initiatives to better connect businesses across the region.

The Morley Town Deal includes a range of transport measures, which will improve connectivity to and from the town, as well as around the town.

Improvements to pedestrian and cycle routes on Albert Road and Station Road will provide better access to the station, enhancing safety and creating a clear path to the town centre for both locals and visitors.

Additionally, access improvements between Morley Bottoms and the New Pavilion will benefit pedestrians and contribute to the town centre economy.
