£6.5 million boost for Colne Town Centre
The Levelling Up Fund
£6.5 million will breathe new life into Colne, restoring its Heritage Quarter as the go-to destination for visitors to Pendle. The funding will go towards bringing the Little Theatre, The Muni Theatre and Pendle Hippodrome back to their former glory, raising the curtain on entertainment in the area for years to come.
The historic Derby Arms pub – currently standing empty – will also be given a new lease of life along with vacant and under-used buildings throughout the Albert Road Conservation Area.
Colne Market Hall will get a makeover, with improved space for businesses and housing for town centre living.
