New UK Government investment funds are going towards Scotland’s dairy industry, supporting innovation and growth for local businesses in the sector. It is hoped that the Digital Dairy Chain will create over 600 new jobs and add £60 million to the local economy every year.

Investment from the Levelling Up Fund is helping to transform transport in Dumbarton. Improvements between Dumbarton Central Station and the town centre will help to make journeys safer and more enjoyable for pedestrians and cyclists. These new travel connections are just one part of an ambitious development of Dumbarton that will attract more people, meaning more opportunities for businesses to gain customers.

Green Freeports are special zones that can power growth, create jobs and unleash potential through tax breaks and rebates for green investment.
